PROJECT / DOSSIER
One film, and an open record of how that film is made.
The Limits of My World is a 15-minute SF horror made with generative AI, and an open-production project that experiments with how a human's intent, a model's proposals, and other people's feedback are chosen and recorded within a single work.
In this project, participation does not stand in for the work's decisions. The maker takes responsibility for the work's center of gravity and makes the final choice. What the project records — as transparently as possible — is which opinions came in, what was adopted, and which contributions became part of the work.
The film depicts how the expansion of generative AI consumes stars, seas, and human labour and bodies. At the same time, by using the very tool it critiques, it exposes — through the making itself — where a human judges and what they take responsibility for.
